Summer Reading 2015

Dear Students, Parents and Guardians:

Reading and writing are essential to learn about ourselves and our world. Students will read a variety of books over the summer (at least FOUR) and engage the texts through pieces of writing (at least TWO). Summer writing assignments are required and will be collected by students’ ELA teachers after the start of the new school year.

Please see the attached summer reading assignment for suggested texts and choices for readers’ responses. If you have questions, please contact Mrs. Parchman (esimmons@harmonytx.org) or school administration.

Enjoy your summer and have fun reading! read more . . .

Summer Meals Begin!

Our children need nutritious meals to learn, grow and thrive-even when school is out. With the Summer Food Service Program, children and teens ages 18 and younger can continue to eat healthy throughout the summer at no cost, just by showing up at a participating meal site.
